My professional qualifications, training and experience
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Reg. MBACP) and abide by their guidelines and ethical framework. More details can be found on the BACP website.
I work as an integrative therapist and I am qualified in Person Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Combining these varying modalities with my intuition and creative interventions enables me to tailor the therapy to meet your specific individual needs.
My Professional Qualifications:
I currently work part-time as a counsellor for Torbay Domestic Abuse Services (TDAS) and have extensive experience in working with Domestic Abuse Survivors, both female and male. Whilst some have had recent experiences of abuse, many are struggling to cope with PTSD, depression and anxiety as a result of an abusive relationship from many years ago. I help these clients to regain their identity and believe in themselves so they can begin to rebuild their lives.
